杨永月，字明然，号大石，醉石斋主人。现为中国美术家协会山东分会会员，中国书画家协会理事，中国民族书画艺术家协会理事，泰山画院高级画师。大石自幼酷爱美术，1988年毕业于中国书画函授大学，研习山水和花鸟画的创作，后受艺于泰山画院院长、泰安美协主席庞子东先生。先后进修于中国美协画家高研班和山东美协花鸟画创作班，受到孙克，霍春阳，郭石夫等先生身教。经过多年的努力，尤以写意花鸟画见长，后专画石榴。杨永月的石榴画颇受国内外收藏家的厚爱，在全国各类大展中多次获奖，2000年在泰山画院成功举办了石榴画个展。党的“十六大”期间，永月画的《石榴大》蕴涵十六大之意，被作为礼品，献给了江泽民、李鹏、朱镕基以及新当选的九位常委和与会代表，作品饱含激情，生机勃勃，借石榴“富贵、吉祥、繁荣”之寓意，表现出向上崛起、生生不息、兴旺繁盛的时代气息，深受欢迎和喜爱。
