徐继先，男，艺名徐墨，祖籍山西，1941年生，1964年毕业于内蒙古师范大学美术系，现为中国美协会员、内蒙美协理事。
徐墨善于画草原题材，优以画马、骆驼、人物、花鸟等为主，运笔，用墨流畅生动，画风具有浓郁的民族和地域特色，色墨浑厚，形神俱佳，深受艺术界好评。
其作品在“千里行程一路春”，在1974年被印成年画在多国出版发行，并获内蒙古自治区艺术作品一等奖，1992年“金秋”入选全国首届花鸟画展荣获作品“优秀奖”。同年应北京天安门城楼之邀画大幅作品“草原之春”、并收藏出版。自1992年以来大量作品被北京荣宝斋展销和多家博物馆、美术院收藏，其作品深受东南亚一些人士喜爱与珍藏。93年“瑞雪”入选全国著名花鸟画家邀请展。2003年“祥云万里”入选全国中国画展。2004年“飞动的云”入选全国中国画展并获优秀奖。2004年“奔腾的草原”入选全国第二届少数民族画展，并获优秀奖。2004年“飞动的云”入选全国第十届美术展。
