黄铸夫，著名书画家、老新闻工作者。生前曾任中央美术学院党委委员、国画系副主任、中国书法家协会理事、中国美术家协会会员、黄宾虹研究会副会长，中国画研究会顾问，中国老年书画研究会顾问。
黄铸夫先生系广西北海市人，生于1913年。20世纪30年代初，入广州美专学习油画，1932年底与上海党中央出版局取得联系，参加地下革命活动。1937年后投身于抗日救亡活动，参加鲁迅倡导的“新兴木刻活动”，参与“现代版画社”的工作。1938年任《新华日报》美编主任，并参加了鲁迅先生所倡导的“新兴木刻运动”，1940年后又筹组和领导了中华全国木刻协会，在国内外发表了大量漫画及木刻作品，影响颇大。1950年任中南广播电台台长。1954年任中侨委对外司专员，负责海外华侨宣传工作，并经常参加何香凝所邀集的国内外著名画家作画活动。1958年到中央美术学院任院党委委员、中国画系副主任，工作期间他团结全系老师，积极组织教学研究，在此期间，也与李可染、李苦禅、黄胄、朱丹等老一辈书画艺术家结下了深厚的友谊。他还在任教期间，带领学生赴敦煌莫高窟、内蒙、广西等地区写生学习，为中国画教学培养人才做出了贡献。继而在中国美术研究所工作直至80年代离休。在繁忙的工作之余，他从未放弃对中国书画艺术的研究和追求。黄老先生擅长国画山水，兼及大写意花鸟。山水远师宋元，近取黄宾虹；花鸟师徐渭、吴昌硕。作品或笔力老辣、气韵浑厚，或刚健婀娜、情趣盎然，尤擅长画鲶鱼、奔马、老鹰，作品多次参加展出并发表。亦擅书法，为中国书法家协会发起人之一。
作品有《墨海青山》、《源头活水》等，出版有《黄铸夫画选》等。
