吴荣光，一九六三年四月生，湖南湘西花垣县人。一九八五年毕业于湖南师范大学美术学院留校任教至今，副教授。中国美术家协会会员，湖南省工笔画学会会长，湖南省美术家协会理事，湖南省水墨画艺委会主任委员。
