萧和，1948年11月生于山东青岛，祖籍江苏扬州，现居南京市。擅长中国人物画。作品多次参加国内外多种画展，曾在香港、台湾、南京等地举办个人画展。作品在国内外众多画册、刊物发表，并为国内外众多博物馆及美术馆收藏，出版有《中国人物画传统技法解析》《萧和画集》《世纪画坛菁英—萧和》等专著。曾获文化部颁发的《文华奖》并受到江苏省人民政府嘉奖。中央电视台、中国教育电视台等做过专题访谈。作为海协会大陆书画家代表团成员两次访问台湾，现为中国美术家协会会员，国家一级美术师，海峡两岸关系协会书画分会理事，江苏省艺术类高级职称评审委员会委员，江苏省美术家协会艺术委员会委员。

Xiao He was born in November 1948 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. His ancestral home is Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. Now he lives in Nanjing. Good at Chinese figure painting. His works have participated in a variety of exhibitions at home and abroad. He has held individual exhibitions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nanjing and other places. His works have been published in many albums and magazines at home and abroad, and collected in many museums and art galleries at home and abroad. He has published such monographs as the analysis of traditional techniques of Chinese figure painting, the collection of Xiaohe paintings, and the elite of century painting - Xiaohe. He has won the "Wenhua Award" issued by the Ministry of culture and awarded by the people's Government of Jiangsu Province. CCTV, China Education Television and so on have done special interviews. As a member of the Chinese calligrapher and painter delegation of the association, he has visited Taiwan twice. Now he is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a national first-class artist, a director of the calligraphy and painting branch of the Cross Strait Relations Association, a member of the evaluation committee for senior titles of Arts in Jiangsu Province, and a member of the Art Committee of the Artists Association of Jiangsu Province.

On April 26, 2014, he participated in the cross-strait calligrapher and painter exchange held in Suzhou by the National Taiwan Affairs Association.

On May 26, 2014, he once again participated in the mainland calligrapher and painter delegation organized by Chen Yunlin's Maritime Association to visit Taiwan for exchange.

On March 18, 2013, Xiaohe calligraphy and painting art exhibition was held in the wealth center, No.1 Zhongshandong Road, industrial and Commercial Bank of China. The exhibition focuses on the themes of the Republic of China, displaying more than 70 works.

On November 9, 2013, Xiao He's figure painting exhibition was held in Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum, displaying more than 130 works.
