李照东，广东汕头人。深圳述古堂学术主持人，中国画学会创会理事，中国美术家协会会员。1954年8月生。少从尊翁永芝公习书法，有神童之誉；潮中耆宿佃介眉先生有诗并赞曰：少年能踵晋唐风韵，王铎后未可复见。及长，问学于粤东画坛诸公，悟参赞自然、援书入画之道。自谓学无崖际，画无新旧，所作山水、花鸟，不拘南北之限，畅神而已。
