谢泰伟，四川仁寿人，1949年10月生，现为中国美术家协会会员，中国书法艺术研究院艺术委员会会员，公安部文联美术创作员，北京巴蜀书画院特聘画师，上海张大千艺术中心特级画师，中国西部书画院高级画师，四川省美术家协会创作研究员，首批巴蜀画派艺术实力代表人物，巴蜀画派专修学院特聘教授。现任中国国际工艺美术师协会理事，中国八一画院名誉院长，中国西部书画院副秘书长，眉山市美术家协会副主席。
谢泰伟早年拜国画家王永年先生（张大千入室弟子）为师，学习中国传统绘画和书法。1999年考入成都翰林书画院首届山水画研修班，在四川美院著名老教授李文信先生指导下，研习中国山水画。从2001年9月起，进入姚思敏工作室，在中国当代著名艺术家姚思敏、唐允明先生指导下继续深造。2010年7月，赴北京现代工笔画院重彩班进修，在蒋采苹、胡明哲、唐秀玲、祁恩进等名师指导下进行现代工笔画创作。作品多次参加中国美协举办的展览，入编大型画册，在《美术》、《国画家》、《收藏家》、《中国书画报》、《世界知识画报》等国家级报刊杂志上发表；作品原件被艺术馆、博物馆及国内外藏家收藏；艺术活动先后被四川电视台，中央电视台专题报道。2009年荣获四川省政府颁发的“第六届巴蜀文艺奖”；2011年3月被四川省官方认定为“巴蜀画派艺术实力代表人物”。2015年5月在深圳宝安美术馆与和平美术馆同时举办个人画展。艺术简历载入国家级出版社出版的《当代著名书画家辞典》。出版有多种画集。
1999年4月，书法作品《旭日彩霞》入选中国美协和中国诗书画院联办的《纪念张大千诞辰100周年华人书画名家精品展》
2002年8月，作品《天然屏障》入选文化部艺术中心主办的《庆祝建军75周年全国书画大展》，获优秀作品奖。
2002年10月，作品《月浴古城》入选中国美协“庆祝十六大中国西部大地情中国画大展”
2004年1月，作品《彝区山道》入选公安部、中国美协联办的第三届“卫士之光”美术、书法、摄影作品展，获三等奖；
2004年8月，工笔重彩画《我的家园，我的金秋》入选中国美协主办的“纪念小平诞辰100周年全国美术作品展”
2005年9月，国画作品《霜林晨曲》获“大河春天—第五届当代中国山水画展”铜奖；国画作品《暮归》获创新奖；
2006年11月，国画作品《桕林高秋》入选中国美协“2006年全国中国画作品展”
2007年5月，国画作品《明霞照影花如语》获中国美协厦门创作中心“中国当代实力派国画家提名展”优秀作品奖

2008年3月，国画作品《暮归》、《桕林高秋》入选中国国家画院编辑出版的大型画集《中国当代国画家精品集》。
2008年6月，国画作品《悲痛与力量》入选中国美协“心系汶川——全国美术作品特展”。（2009年12月，该作品获四川省第六届巴蜀文艺奖）
2008年11月，工笔画作品《知音》入选中国美协厦门创作中心“全国中国画名家邀请展”。
2009年5月，国画作品《都汶线上》入选中国美协“感恩.重建——纪念5.12汶川大地震一周年全国美术作品展”。（该作品被《美术》杂志发表）
