任敬彬　字子谦，号任风，笔名老钝、苦佗、三石等。1952年生于山东夏津。先后毕业于德州学院艺术系、山东师范大学美术系、天津美术学院中国画研究生班。
济南大学艺术学院副院长、教授，现为中国国家画院刘大为工作室画家。多年从事中国画教学、研究和创作，擅长人物、兼作山水花鸟。
获奖荣誉
国画作品参加中国美协主办“中国画三百家”、“全国首届美术金彩奖大展”、“中国画赴澳大利亚展”、《纪念毛泽东同志在延安文艺座谈会上谈话60周年全国美展》、“中国西部大地情全国大展”、《纪念邓小平诞辰100周年全国书画展》、《纪念中国工农红军长征胜利70周年全国中国画作品展》等全国大展，部分作品和文章在《美术》、《文艺研究》杂志发表。
2004年由山东美术出版社出版《任敬彬画集》。
2007年由中国文史出版社出版专著《笔墨探微》。
2011年国画作品《花样年华》获新华书画首届全国大展银（最高）奖。
2012年年国画作品《大海之光》获哈尔滨首届“八荒通神全国中国画双年展”优秀（最高）奖。[1]
