当代著名画家，年生于山东省威海市。高级编辑。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员、山东省美术家协会会员、山东省书法家协会会员、山东省政协联谊书画院副院长、《人民日报》神州书画院理事、山东画院艺术顾问、济南画院顾问。
于阳春从事新闻工作及中国画创作40余年，曾任《大众日报》文艺部主任、省文联秘书长、《联合日报》社长总编辑、山东省政协副秘书长。1989年荣获山东省优秀新闻工作者称号。1994年获“泰山新闻奖”提名奖。近几年以更多时间投身大自然，游历祖国名山大川，并到欧美许多国家考察写生。1989年以来，共出版六部《于阳春画集》。先后为人民大会堂、天安门城楼及中国驻外大使馆作巨制山水画20多幅。多次到新加坡、日本、韩国、美国讲学并举办个人画展。1994年去新加坡举办画展，受到新加坡总统王鼎昌接见。2002年6月在山东美术馆成功地举办了个人画展。多幅作品参加全国及国际展览，并获日中水墨画大展金奖
