王建忠，生于山东龙口，曾在安徽工作，现居北京。北京画院中国画高级创作班毕业，师从张建中、张立辰、郭石夫、王明明。现为中国国画家协会理事，中国长城书画院理事，冰雪花鸟中国画创始人，华夏名人艺术书画院副院长，北京市慈善家协会艺术院副院长。
