陈西汀，原名陈锡亭，1940年生，山东夏津人，1966年毕业于中央工艺美术学院。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国国画创作研究院院长、中国美术家协会国际互联网成员、世界华人联合会书画艺术网成员、中国书画联谊网著名书画家、清华大学美术学院教授、中国书画函授学院教授、德国波恩市“龙的画廊”艺术顾问。
近年来，在国内“人民日报”、“北京日报”、香港等十多家报刊及日本、德国、新加坡等国家报刊上发表过多幅作品及评论。教学之余为国务院、北京人大常委会、国防大学、中南海及全国多处大宾馆作巨幅作品布置展厅。作品及艺术成就被载入《中国当代艺术界名人录》、《中国当代书画名家宝鉴》等多种典籍。专著有《陈西汀画集》、《陈西汀山水画集》。
