孙延，男，1970年出生，山东烟台市人。曾用名孙燕。1995年毕业于山东工艺美术学院装横艺术设计系装横艺术设计专业。之后分配至中国人民革命军事博物馆设计处，从事展览设计和平面设计工作至今。现在中国人民革命军事博物馆设计处从事展示设计和平面设计及研究工作，文职干部，馆员。目前系中国博物馆学会会员、中国工艺美术学会会员，中国工业设计协会会员、北京博物馆学会会员。曾参与国家八五规划重点出版选题《中国古代名物大典》（获第八届中国图书奖）及《中华博物源流通考》大型辞书的编撰工作，均系主要作者。多次参加国家级大型展览的设计及布展工作；20余件设计作品曾入选第九届全国美术作品展、中国之星全国包装与标志设计大奖、全国美展“首届中国设计艺术大展”、世界华人设计艺术大展、第五届全国体育美术作品展、纪念毛主席《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表60周年全国美术作品展等大型展览并获金奖、铜奖等奖项；创意设计室两字格作品等8件设计作品获国家实用新型发明专利，几十件作品在《中国设计年鉴》、《中国创意百科》、《中国体育美术作品选》、《中国设计艺术大展作品集》、《广告设计》、《人民日报》、《北京日报》等发表；多件设计作品被国家博物馆、香港等博物馆收藏。20余篇专业设计论文曾入选亚洲国际设计科学大会（日本）、国际工业设计大会、中国科协2001、2002、2003年学术年会及文集、中国科协第四届青年学术年会及文集、中国博物馆学会第五届、第六届陈列设计学术会议、《海峡两岸博物馆学人与全球化对话》（论文集）、《北京博物馆年鉴》、《中国博物馆》、《美术与设计》、《中央民族大学学报》等国家核心刊物及学术会议。
