林胜利，男，1950年出生。1995年毕业于美术系，原工作单位及职务：北京大学出版社美术编辑、美编室主任、艺术总监。
1970年至1975年第二炮兵一七五部队美术员，1975年至1978年北京新华印刷厂美工，1978年至1984年在北京市公路局任宣传干事，1984年至1988年在哦中国对外翻译出版公司任美术编辑，1989年至2003年在北京大学出版社任美术编辑、美编室主任、艺术总监。
任北京大学出版社美术副编审，中国书籍装帧艺术委员会副主任，全国高等院校装帧艺术委员会主任等职，1993年在中国美术馆举办《林胜利书籍装帧艺术展》，1995年获第四届全国书籍装帧艺术展金奖。
