尹秋生，1952年出生于广东东莞。1986年毕业于广州美术学院并留校任教。现为广州美术学院副教授、中国美术家协会会员、广东省美术家协会会员、中国版画藏书票研究会会员、广州市美术行业协会会员。
代表作品为：木雕《奔袭》获“广东省美展”优秀奖，入选“第七届全国美展”；铜雕《旋》获“广东省美展”优秀奖、入选“中国第二届体育美展”并于1990年为国际奥委会收藏；木雕《吻育》获“广东省美展”铜奖、“第八届全国美展”优秀奖并为中国美协收藏；铜雕《旋韵》获“广东省美展”优秀奖、入选“中国第四届体育美展”；木雕《生生不息》获“广东省美展”铜奖、“第九届全国美展”优秀奖；雕塑《不倒的跳台》获“广东省美展”优秀奖、入选“中国第五届体育美展”；木雕《圣雄》入选“第十届全国美展”。
雕塑作品多次入选全国美展并多次获奖：玉雕作品多次入选全国、省、市工艺展并获奖、木雕《奔袭》入选第七届全国美展、铜雕《旋》入选第二届中国体育美展并于1990年被国际奥委会收藏、木雕《吻育》获第八届全国美展优秀作品奖并于1994年被中国美术协会收藏，另有多件作品分别被广州市博物馆、广州美术学院等收藏。
