谢慕莲（1918.11～1985）现代年画家。浙江余姚人。少时读私塾，后来沪随其三叔谢之光习月份牌画。1938年至1949年，先后在上海克劳来广告公司、新一行广告公司从事广告画设计。新中国成立后，独立从事月份牌年画创作，受聘为上海画片出版社和上海人民美术出版社特约年画作者。擅长表现古典戏曲题材，风格精细、明朗，讲究服饰质感。代表作有《李香君》、《珍珠塔》、《柳毅传书》、《霸王别姬》、《杨家十二女将》等。在1985年第三届全国年画评奖会上荣获优秀年画作者奖。为中国美术家协会会员。
