彭本人(1945.8—)湖南桂阳人。擅长中国画、壁画。1973年毕业于湖南师范学院美术系。曾在桂阳县文化馆工作。1985年调湖南美术出版社，历任编辑室主任，副编审。曾创作《三十八颗人头》、《欧阳海》等10多本连环画和工笔画《青春浪漫曲》、《银妆》、《清清流水》等50多幅作品。
