杨光华，重庆市人。擅长水墨画、比较美术史论研究。1964年毕业于四川美术学院，曾供职于中央民族大学美术系、美术研究所，现任中国艺术研究院美术研究所研究员、《中国诗书画》杂志副主编、书画研修部副主任。
