钟铃，北京人，1980－1984毕业于中央工艺美术学院，装饰绘画专业。1985年至今执教于北京建筑工程学院建筑系，任副教授。曾任北京水彩画学会会长、北京水彩画艺委会主任。
2007年作品《都市节奏》参加纪念市美协成立20周年美展（北京）。
2006年作品《AMY》、《空间》参加第七届汉城、北京国际水彩画展（汉城）。
2005年作品《渡过黄色之二》参加第二届中国青年水彩画大展。
2004年作品《地安门大街》参加汉城、北京国际水彩画展（汉城）。
2003年作品《情满香江系列---东方之珠》参加中国艺术大展（天津、香港）。
2002年作品《昨天、今天》、《午后凤凰》被中国美术馆收藏。
2001年在中国美术馆举办“首届中国青年水彩画学术邀请展”，参展作品28幅。
2000年作品《晚秋》参加北京、汉城国际水彩画展（北京）。
1999年作品《风》参加中国当代版画新作展（日本东京等五城市展出）。
1998年北京电视台拍摄五集电视专题片“钟铃水彩画技法”，并多次在北京播出。
1997年作品《船厂早晨》获“首届中国青年水彩画大展”学术奖（北京）。
1996年作品《雨景》获“首届中国现代水彩画邀请展”优秀奖（北京）。
1995年作品《北京秋天》获法国尼斯“国际造型艺术大展”优秀作品奖（法国尼斯）。
1994年作品《玛尼干戈牧场的黄昏》参加世界水彩画大展（台湾台南）。
1992年作品《红色衬布上的女人体》参加世界水彩画大展（韩国釜山）。
1991年于中国历史博物馆举办东方精神画展，展出水彩画作品七十二幅。
