杨明辅，陕西省子长县人，1913年2月2日出生，1989年12月10日因长期患病医治无效不幸逝世，终年76岁。
杨明辅同志从青年时代投身革命，1930年加入共青团，不久转为中共党员。1933年参加陕北红军游击队。在艰苦的革命战争中，一度失掉与党的联系。1936年6月再次找到党组织重新入党。1937年3月赴延安抗日军政大学学习，并先后任中共中央组织部交通员、科长、中直、军直管理局西北商店经理。
新中国成立后，他历任中国经济建设公司供销处长、轻工业部天津度量衡厂厂长、一机部北京仪器厂厂长、北京市工艺美术研究所所长、北京特种工艺公司副经理等职。1982年离职休养。
