郭忠恕   (？-977)五代末期至宋代初期的画家，〔北宋〕字恕先，又字国宝，洛阳(今属河南)人。7岁能诵书属文，举童子及第。后周广顺中(952)召为宗正丞兼国子监书学博士。由于争忿朝政，不久被贬为崖州司户，秩满去官，不复仕，纵放岐雍、陕洛间。入宋，官国子监主簿，益纵酒肆言，因讥讽时政，又遭流配登州，死于临邑途中。工画山水尤擅界画，楼观舟楫皆极精妙。所画重楼复阁建筑颇合规矩，“上折下算，一斜百随，咸取砖木诸匠本法，略不相背”，比例十分准确精细。作石似李思训，作树似王维，每当自画屋木，王士元便给其补人物，合作颇为默契。兼精文字学、文学，善写篆、隶书。尤其“界画”为世人推重。“界画”是随着山水画发展而派生的一科，主要是画与山水画中有关的亭台楼阁、舟船车舆。《圣朝名画评》中评他的界画，为“一时之绝”，列为“神品”。

工书，诸体皆能。曾有人得鸟迹篆，忠恕一见辄诵如宿习。清刘熙载《艺概.书概》称：“忠恕以篆古之笔溢为分隶，独成高致。”传有《三体阴符经》、《汗简》、《佩觽》等书。其画风画技在当时和后世有较大影响。

 《宣和画谱》中说，“三百年之唐历五代以还，仅得卫贤以画宫室得名。本朝郭忠恕既出，视卫贤辈其余不足数，如忠恕之高者，岂复有斯人之徒欤？”他的“界画”对后世影响很大。传世作品有《雪霁江行图》卷，界画精工，人物生动，上有宋徽宗赵佶题识，确信为真迹，现藏台北故宫博物院；《明皇避暑宫图》轴，绢本，墨笔，纵161.5厘米，横105.6厘米，传为忠恕所作，其宫殿楼阁描绘精密工致，法度严谨，藏日本大阪市立美术馆。著有《佩觽》三卷，阐述文字变迁并考证正传写错误。又汇编古文字《汗简》，为研究古文字学提供了珍贵资料。

 Guo Zhongshu (? - 977) Painters from the end of the Five Dynasties to the beginning of the Song Dynasty, who were born in Luoyang (now Henan) with the characters of "Northern Song Dynasty" and "national treasure". At the age of 7, he can recite books and articles. Later Zhou Guangshun Zhong (952) was summoned as a doctor of calligraphy from Zong Zhengcheng and Guozi Supervisor. As a result of the contention for government, he was soon demoted to Yazhou as a householder, ranked full of officials, no longer official, indulged between Qiyong and Shaanxi and Luoyang. In the Song Dynasty, the governor of Guanguozi kept a book, and Yiju made a bold remark about the current affairs. He was exiled to Dengzhou and died on the way to Linyi. Industrial landscape painting is especially good at boundary painting. Lou Guanzhou Hui is exquisite. The painting of the double-storey compound Pavilion building is quite in line with the rules, "the top down calculation, inclined to follow all directions, salty brick carpenters this law, slightly different", the proportion is very accurate and fine. The stone is like Li Sixun, the tree is like Wang Wei. Whenever he paints his own house, Wang Shiyuan gives him a complement, and cooperation is quite tacit. Excellent in both philology and literature, good at writing seals and official scripts. Especially "boundary painting" is valued by the world. "Boundary painting" is a branch derived with the development of landscape painting, mainly related to the pavilions, pavilions, boats and chariots in landscape painting. His boundary paintings in The Review of Famous Pilgrimage Paintings are regarded as "absolute for a moment" and are listed as "divine objects".

Work books, all physical abilities. Someone once got the seal of bird traces and recited loyalty and forgiveness at first sight like a dormitory. Liu Xizai of the Qing Dynasty said in his book Yiqian Shuqian: "Zhongshu takes the overflow of seal scripts as its subordinate part, which makes it unique and elegant." There are books such as "Three Body Yin Fu Jing", "Khan Jian", "Peixu" and so on. His painting style and techniques had a great influence at that time and later generations.
