刘谦，台湾人。擅长油画。1982年毕业于东北师范大学美术系油画专业。任吉林话剧团舞美设计，1986年毕业于天津美术学院油画研究生班，获硕士学位，后留校任教。1991年厦门大学艺术学院美术系任教，现在厦门市路桥艺术工程公司。
