翟欣建(1950.10—)生于天津。现在中央美术学院附属中等美术学校任教，中央美术学院副教授，中国美术家协会会员。1972年油画《初次上场》参加“北京市美术作品展”。1974年油画《喜试幸福车》参加“北京市美术作品展”。1982年油画《心灵的歌》获“北京市优秀美术作品二等奖”。1983年油画《女工》参加“摩纳哥艺术大奖展”。1986年赴日本研修艺术。被日本东洋美术学校聘为客座讲师。油画《女挡车工》参加在日本东京举办的“中国当代美术家作品展”。l987年油画《女人体》参加在美国纽约举办的“中国现代美术作品展”。1988年赴美国纽约，在赫夫纳画廊举办“翟欣建油画展”。1989年油画《同学》参加台湾举办的“大陆油画展”。1990年油画《准备》参加在新加坡举办的“中央美术学院油画雕塑展”。1992年油画《女肖像》参加“中国油画展”。1993年油画《黑色和白色的梦》参加“中央美术学院附中建校40周年画展”。收入《中国美术分类全集·现代巷·中国油画全集》第三卷。1996年油画《镜前》参加在美国举办的“中国现代画展”。2000年编写《认识素描》一书，由北京人民美术出版社出版。2001年编写《新起点·基础素描图鉴》，由北京人民美术出版社出版。2002年编写《新起点·基础色彩图鉴》、《新起点·速写图鉴》，由北京人民美术出版社出版。2005年天津杨柳青画社出版《翟欣建·中国当代实力派油画精品丛书》。
