费以复画作

费以复(1913.11—1982.8)。江苏吴江人。擅长油画。1936年毕业于苏州美专西画系。到南京励志社美术股工作。1951年调上海行知艺术学校任教，后任浙江美术学院油画系副主任、副教授。历任力志社总社美术科干事、上海行知艺术学校教员、中央美术学院华东分院教师、浙江美术学院油画系副主任、副教授、中国美术家协会会员，美协浙江分会理事，杭州科普美协理事长。作品有《钢铁工人》、《修建畜牧场》、《采桔姑娘》等。出版有《油画小辑》、《绘画写生色彩学》，以及和蔡亮合着的《素描·色彩入门》。

费以复为颜文粱的高足，1939年在重庆参加中华全国美术会，由徐悲鸿提名担任理事，1950年作品获华京美展三等奖，1953年由颜文粱推荐到中央美院华东分院（现浙江中国美院）任教，1954年参加第二届全国美展，1955年与黎冰鸿等人筹建油画系，文革期间被批成“国民党宫廷御用画家”，1980年恢复浙江美院华东分院油画系副主任职务，1982年病逝于兰州。1995年费以复的作品开始在国际市场上亮相。这次上海崇源共推出费以复4幅作品，其总一幅《嵊泗海景》（尺寸66×51CM）成交价为1．43万元，其余三幅———《崂山潮音瀑》（估价6000－8000元）、《大同云冈石窟》（估价6000－8000元）、《山路》（估价12000－15000元）均出现了流标。从中可以看出，费以复的作品估价尽管很低，但市场成交却很不理想，相反，不少第三和第四代油画家的作品动辄都是数十万元，令第二代乃至第一代油画家望尘莫及。
