马树林(1949.7—)内蒙古赤峰人。擅长油画。1970年毕业于内蒙古师范大学美术系。1984年结业于中央美术学院第一届油画研修班，受教于中国著名油画家靳尚谊，李天祥教授。1970-1988年在内蒙古自治区哲盟博物馆工作。1988年调河北师范学院美术系工作(1991-1996任系主任)现改为河北师范大学美术学院油画系。
现为：中国美术家协会会员，中国美术家协会河北省分会理事，中国美术家河北省油画艺委会常务理事，中国河北师范大学美术系教授，硕士生导师
