郭晓光，吉林省长春市人。现任东北师范大学美术学院副教授硕士生导师。
1977-1981年沈阳鲁迅美术学院油画系本科毕业；1982-1987年长春电影制片长任副美术师；1987-1997年东北师范大学美术学院任教；1997-1999年中央美院第十届研修班；1999-至今东北师范大学美术学院硕士生导师。 
作品《生灵》入选中国首届油画展；《战争*女人》参加反法西斯50周年国际美术作品展获铜奖；《铿锵玫瑰》入选第九届全国美展，省级三等奖，并在埃及“中埃建交三十周年中国大型艺术展”中展出；《中国姑娘》参加第五届全国美展，参加“建党八十周年美术作品展”获省级二等奖；《风景I》参加西部大地情全国风景画作品展获优秀奖；《姚明》入选第三届全国油画展，获省级二等奖。
