陈林，1958年7月出生，籍贯重庆市，现为中国美术家协会会员、四川美术家协会会员、成都美术学院客座教授，作品曾参加过全国、全军和出国美展，部分作品被国内外收藏家和军队博物馆收藏，有100余幅作品在军地刊物发表。
1982~1983年在西南师范大学美术系研究油画（进修）；1987年7月毕业于北京京西大学美术系油画专业（大专）；1987年7月至11月在北京人民美术出版社学习连环画和插图专业；1991年毕业于北京解放军艺术学院美术系油画专业。绘画作品：1982年油画《路》入选纪念建军55周年全军美展；版画《汽车兵运动会》获优秀作品奖。1987年油画《天兵》入选纪念建军60周年全国军事画展。1989年油画《孤寂的雪地》被香港艺术中心收藏。1990年油画《雪风》入选北京迎亚运会中国风情油画展。1990年油画《黑色地平线》等五幅作品入选项全国第六届新人新作品展。1990年油画《西部》、《士兵》、《雪》三幅作品入选项纪念军艺建院30周年汇报展。1990年油画《棕色背景的女人体》赴新加坡文化交流。1990年油画《人体习作》赴台湾文化交流。1991年油画《二月》入选91中国首届油画年展，后赴香港文化交流，被美国收藏家收藏。1997年油画《八路军自动研制的枪》被解放军军事后勤馆收藏，填补了军队重大历史事件没有形象资料的一项空白。1998年油画《胜利》入选全军“抗洪精神赞”美展，获三等奖。1999年油画《胜利》入选纪念建国50周年四川省美展，获优秀作品奖。1999年油画《对话》入选纪念建国50周年全军美展，获优秀作品奖。2003年油画《西蜀档案·重见天光》参加四川省新世纪美展。美术设计：1993年任18集电视连续剧《雪震》美术设计，第七届全军电视剧“金星奖”优秀美术设计奖。1994年任10集电视连续剧《天路》美术设计。2001年任20电视连续剧《走向喜马拉雅》美术设计。由于成绩突出，荣立三等功一次。

Chen Lin, born in July 1958, is a member of China Artists Association, Sichuan Artists Association and visiting professor of Chengdu Academy of fine arts. His works have participated in national, military and overseas art exhibitions. Some of them have been collected by collectors and military museums at home and abroad. More than 100 of them have been published in military and local publications.

From 1982 to 1983, he studied oil painting in the Department of fine arts of Southwest Normal University (further education); in July 1987, he graduated from the Department of fine arts of Beijing Jingxi University (junior college); from July to November 1987, he studied comics and illustrations in Beijing People's Fine Arts Publishing House; in 1991, he graduated from the Department of fine arts of Beijing PLA Academy of art. Painting works: in 1982, the oil painting "road" was selected in the military art exhibition to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the founding of the army; the print "auto soldier Games" won the excellent work award. In 1987, the oil painting "Tianbing" was selected into the national military painting exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the army. In 1989, the oil painting lonely snow was collected by the Hong Kong Art Center. In 1990, the oil painting snow wind was selected into the Chinese style oil painting exhibition of Beijing Asian Games. In 1990, five pieces of oil painting "black horizon" were selected for the sixth new works exhibition in China. In 1990, three pieces of oil paintings "West", "soldier" and "Snow" were selected to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the military academy. In 1990, the oil painting "female body with brown background" went to Singapore for cultural exchange. In 1990, oil painting "human body exercise" went to Taiwan for cultural exchange.
